I’m bobby fever and I’ll be one of your tour guides on this little adventure. There are others lurking about who will introduce themselves shortly.

No sweat, let’s take it slow and easy…

The “WHAT”:
Thebrobots.com is our little corner of the web where we can chat about (primarily) the music we love. For me that’s been almost exclusively r&b/soul/funk released from ‘68-‘75 as of late… but we’re not genre-locked historians. We’ll be covering all sorts of stuff - R&B, Soul, Funk, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Dub, Dancehall, Rock, Pop, Indie, blah, blah, blah - whatever we’re really into and feel needs some more attention.

The “WHY”:
We’ll likely expand on this in time but for now it’s basically because we are humbled by the depth of talent and artistry that has been overlooked through the years. Great music deserves to be heard. We want to do our part. We used to do this sort of thing in person over a beer or two but then one of us moved across the country… so, um yeah, here we are!

A word on comments - we’re not uptight, chime in or lurk. Whatever works. This should be about sharing the joy of discovery though… so we want to hear from you. Commenting also helps avoid that whole “tree falling in the woods making a sound” debate.

Lastly, this is only v1.0. we plan to add all sorts of whizzbangery as we go. If you spot any weirdness or you want us to consider adding anything, throwdown in the comments!
