Sounds like Irma is just lonely for someone. I’ve got the ade for her lemons in the form of Freddie Scott! If you haven’t heard “Hey Girl”, “Cry to Me” or “You Got What I Need” GET THEM, HEAR THEM, LOVE THEM. I’ve been obsessing over this song lately though, so get into it! Just DO NOT even think about bumming a drag off this dudes smoke; Not going to happen.

This little ditty is for my brobrother Fingers. Everyone knows Brenton Wood for his “Oogum Boogum” and “Gimme Little Sign” hits. I’ve always really loved those tracks. They’ve always made me smile no matter what was going down (like today when I feel like death thanks to the mystery bug I got down in San Jose). Something about the melody always seemed like exactly what I wanted to hear. Anyway, I always wondered if he had another gem in his catalog. Something of equal caliber that just got over-looked. Finally tracked it down!.. was hidden in plain sight… it’s the B-side of “Gimme Little Sign”! *slaps forehead* Better late than never I guess…

Looks like he’s still doing his thing! God bless him. Wikipedia has some history. The “Baby, You Got It!” comp looks pretty thorough - available @ Amazon or any other fine retailer.
